DIY Hair Mask for Dehydrated, Damaged Hair
This recipe is the easiest and most beloved DIY hair masks of all time, and it’s just pure oil. Both olive and coconut oil are the heaviest of the oil, however, they’re also the most hydrating. We recommend using this mask once a week for maximum results. So let’s repair those split ends and nourish that thirsty hair.
Ingredients:
- Olive oil or coconut oil
P.S. We recommend trying both to see what works best for you!
Steps:
- Microwave half a cup of coconut oil until liquified (if using olive oil skip the microwave, just add half a cup of olive oil into a bowl). Make sure it’s not too hot before you apply!
- Splitting your hair into sections, use your fingers to saturate your dry hair from roots to tips completely
- Wrap up your hair (even better cover with a shower cap) and leave on for at least an hour – for ultimate results leave in overnight
- Wash and condition hair as usual
