Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Ingredients
- ounces roasted red peppers
- ½ cup water
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup tahini paste
- 2 ½ Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 3 cups canned garbanzo beans, drained
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- Select Smoothies program.
- Press Start.
- Allow machine to complete programmed cycle. Add water if necessary to keep mixture flowing freely through blades.
- [If you are using the 5200 series, simply work your way up to high setting and leave there for 30-45 seconds]
