This week’s “Runner of the Week” is a close (and dear) friend of mine. He played a key role in my transformation into distance running. In fact, without him Forks to Feet wouldn’t even exist! Juice piqued my interest in vegan nutrition and long-distance running after I saw how easy he made it look.
If you can’t tell from the picture, he loves KALE and all plant-based foods. He has found that a vegan diet propels his running to distances and speeds that he could have never achieved from the Standard American Diet (SAD). You can read more about Juice and how he opened my eyes to plant-based running in my eBook.

Another SJ fan! I love it 🙂 And I love the picture of Juice … pure awesome!
Scott Jurek is the man! Yeah, Juice is one of a kind and knows how to make an amazing green smoothie. He may (or may not) have taught me 😉
I feel like I've seen that runner's high smile and Kale T-shirt before…
Haha, go get em' Bob!
Hey Allyson! That surprised me (in a good way) to see you here 🙂 I heard you've been putting in some long miles. Keep up the hard work, and don't be a stranger!
Thanks! Been training for my marathon in October. Sounds good! If you or Bob are ever happen to be in my neck of the woods for a race or anything you should let me know. I know of a really great vegan place in town!
Thanks! Yeah, that would be awesome, there are a lot of great running spots downtown… I just don't think I could keep up with you two!
