Committing to a vegan lifestyle can be tough because there are few people to support you.
But losing heart and returning to where you started should not be an option. While you might neither get inspiration nor recipes around you, there are certainly vegan recipes, inspiration and so much more that you can find online.
One way to find the things I mentioned is by following vegan-inspiring YouTube channels that cover everything from recipes to news. While there are many YouTube channels related to veganism not all of them are worth your while.
So, being a vegan myself, I did some research and found out these top YouTube channels for vegan-friendly recipes and more. Let’s talk about them in detail.
-
Avant Garde Vegan
Gaz Oakley is the host of the channel and the guy is a professional chef from Wales. He wrote and published his most famous vegan cookbook Vegan100. He had over a million subscribers on YouTube.
Since the guy is a professional chef, you can expect some of the most delicious vegan meals. Not just that, he has a full-fledged studio where he films and edits his videos for his followers on YouTube. To watch his content in the highest quality, you can search for some of the high-speed internet near you.
He has mastered the art of preparing vegan meals and according to his subscribers, the best content from Avant Garde Vegan is budget vegan meal prep, vegan fish and chips, Kentucky fried chicken burgers, and salted caramel chocolate bars.
Apart from the recipes, and meal preparations, you are going to see some fun content too like vlogs about travel, vegan fitness, and fashion. All in all, it’s a great channel to follow.

Caitlin Shoemaker
A channel dedicated to affordable vegan recipes, and an overall vegan lifestyle. Caitlin is a yoga teacher and she became a vegan back in college. Being a student, she didn’t have enough money to follow a vegan-friendly diet. So, she took the responsibility to find affordable ways to follow a vegan-friendly diet and show them to people through her blog From My Bowl.
I am telling you that you’ll feel a part of her life once you start watching her. She makes fun videos related to vegan lifestyle, skincare, yoga, and mental health. As for the vegan recipes, she helps make her viewers prepare affordable vegan meals that are delicious too.
The best things that I like about her recipes are that they are cheap and free from refined sugar, gluten, and oil.

Sweet Potato Soul
Another YouTube channel from a professional chef who’s a health coach and cooking instructor.
Jenne Claiborne is a professional vegan chef who has also written a book with the name Sweet Potato Soul. Her recipes are so good that they were featured in the New York Times.
Jenne is a woman of color who works full-time as a mother. I believe her own favorite dishes are related to sweet potato and that’s what her followers like. She shares tips on vegan lifestyle and of course recipes. All of her recipes are vegan and they are packed with nutrition. Do you want to have a protein-packed vegan diet? She will have you covered. Do you want to have a carbs-rich pre-workout meal? She will help you with that.
Being a mother, you will be able to see some of her videos related to babies and vegan pregnancy. That’s a plus if you are expecting to be a mother sooner. All in all, it’s a great channel that you can follow as a woman.
To conclude my topic, let me share another great resource from which you can learn more about recipes directly from people. Here is a subreddit specifically dedicated to vegan recipes. Follow it and it can help you with veganism.
