7. Go Shopping
Here’s the fun part! Grab your re-usable shopping bags and hit the store. Take all of the knowledge that you have gained from your previous education (especially the recipes) and compile a shopping list. You will want a hearty stock of the basics and then a weekly stock of fresh produce. Some useful items for your pantry can include:
- Multiple cans of kidney beans, black beans, lentils, chick peas
- Dairy free milk (Almond, Soy, Rice or Coconut)
- Cans of tomatoes/tomato sauce
- Vegetable stock
- Coconut oil and coconut butter
- Salsa
- Jam
- Peanut butter
In your fresh produce order each week, make sure to get a wide variety of fruits and vegetables including dark, leafy greens
